ACTUARIES in Life (Ref. № А_L)

Allianz Bulgaria looks for highly qualified and motivated actuaries who can support the teams and may even aim to the position of the Chief Actuary.

Main responsibilities:

Participate in all monthly, quarterly and annual routines to set the technical reserves and perform necessary reporting;

Contribute to product development though analysis and simulations but maybe also through own product ideas;

As one of the key function holders / team members of the key function, contribute to the fulfilment of Solvency II requirements; this requires close cooperation with other finance functions like risk management and investment, additional reporting, strict compliance with governance and internal control requirements, etc.;

Contribution to the maintenance of a proper set-up of an internal control and governance structure (e.g. underwriting guideline, actuarial function policy, process documentation);

Contribute to the regional and group-wide network of actuaries in Allianz Group.

Main requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Informatics;

Excellent computer skills (MS office, Excel, Access, VBA, work with data base);

Programing interest and skills in SQL, C++, VBA, R or SAS will be considered an advantage;

Previous experience as an actuary, experience in the insurance industry, as well as additional qualification in insurance, insurance mathematics and investments will be considered an advantage;

Fluency in English;

Eagerness to acquire new knowledge:

Willingness to travel abroad;

Willingness to learn and get postgraduate actuarial qualification;

Organizational skills, accuracy, responsibility, confidentiality, loyalty, high self-control;

Communication skills and team player.
